Working since 1989 INTERTEXT Translation and Interpreting Agency has gathered a team of 1500 specialist translators, among them the elite of Polish translators who are philology or applied linguistics graduates. Many of them have diplomas of foreign academies. The co-workers of INTERTEXT are members of such organisations as STP (Association of Polish Translators and Interpreters), TEPIS (Polish Society of Economic, Legal and Court Translators), NOT (Polish Federation of Engineering Associations). A large number have NATO security certificates as well as EU and ABW (Internal Security Agency) security certification (giving access to restricted information, constituting state secrets, designated by various clauses, among them "top secret").
Texts demanding highly specialised knowledge are interpreted by practising lawyers and engineers, etc.
